Back to my roots.

I made it to Bangkok, Thailand!
Spent the day “shopping” at MBK of course, and other street markets. Enjoyed cheap fresh fruits and iced coffee, yummm.
Failed at bargaining a tee, but still bought it. Also got the coolest vintage looking bag for only 4e! (yeah they have fake vintage here, kind of cute though…) Ate Mexican food… UGH me! I was sooo hungry for some sushi but failed at finding a spot. AFTER I forced myself to eat that not so good burrito, I came accross a WHOLE street of Japanese restaurants. I’m so whack.
Haven’t met with Amy yet, she has a meeting. But I saw her Cafe, it’s soooo cute and cool. Also, shout out to her for having booked a room in a very cute boutique hotel (The Bedrooms, right next to her Cafe) with a 20% discount! Only 15e/night! How awesome.
Okay now I need a nap. Only slept 4 hours. Couldn’t sleep in the plane ’cause you know me I’m a freak I HATE flying because I get FREAKIN SCARED (sweaty, fast heart beat, listening to every sound and stuff). So I turned off the lights, put MTV on, and I wait until I finally decide to fall asleep. Then I’m here typing this random post that no one will read. I guess I’m just too excited

Today I went to the countryside, 2 hours from Hanoi, to visit La Pagode des Parfums. Took a little boat, and enjoyed the fantastic view: mountains, rice fields, banana trees… Awesome. Then we walked aaaaall the way up to a mountain and finally arrived at the temple. Oh and I met a nice South Korean family, and a cool Dutch backpacker/couchsurfer. So yeah, I had a very good day Also, you will notice that I am getting a lil’better at photography… I finally managed to learn how to use my awesome camera!
