It was the 1st time I attended a real, traditional Vietnamese wedding. “It’s all about the pictures” said my dear friend Antoine, who got married to the the wonderful Nhien, on August 7th 2010 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

‘Been waiting for this ever since Annie and Eli made me listen to that “Needy Girl” song. They were very late, but we didn’t care in the end. The show was awesome!

Je viens de réaliser la chance que j’ai de vivre seule dans un si grand espace. Mon salon près du jardin sera désormais mon nouveau bureau, mon atelier, mon studio… fun to come Many investira également les lieux quand elle aura besoin de calme pour nous écrire des posts toujours plus passionnants et engagés.

Je compte inviter les potes plus souvent a la maison, pour profiter de l’été comme il se doit.

Miemo is the shit. She’s a Louisiana girl living the DC life. She is my cousine. We 1st met in 1998 or 1999 I’m not sure. We used to send each other letters and cute drawings until we both discovered an awesome tool called Internet (well she found out before me). Then began a long distance relationship punctuated by a few trips filled with Mary-Kate & Ashley’s movies, Shrek, Black Power Signs, Kings Dominion, Parties, VA Beach Trips, FOOOOD, Pictures, Sleeping in the same bed, Chipotle, Meeting her awesome friends, Dim Sum, Bubble Tea, Robek’s Smoothies, Sushi, Pho, More parties, Consumption of once prohibited beverages, 1 day trip to NYC with Timmy aka “My left foot hurts”, meeting cool cat Samantha, more food… oh and a TATTOO.

Miemo just takes me everywhere. She introduced me to her world as soon as we 1st met and well… her world is pretty cool. She is an artist AND a cook. How awesome. I have no idea of how my life would be without her, and honestly I’d rather not know. All my people know about cool cousin Miemo, even here, in France. Some may be a bit jealous, but heeey man, it is what it is, and it’s inked on my wrist forever. So if you don’t know, now you know!

Oh and how I love it when Miemo and JUAN welcome me at the airport with a “AU BON PAIN” sign, haha! Nerds.
